CODE OF CONDUCT

1. HAVE FUN!
It’s baseball. Enjoy the game, make some memories, and have fun like you’re a kid again.

2. SHOW RESPECT.
Respect the players, coaches, fans, and umpires. If you wouldn’t say it to your mother, don’t say it here.

3. NO METAL SPIKES ON THE TURF.
We love our field and plan on playing on it again tomorrow. Please help us keep it that way.

4. SUNFLOWER SEEDS STAY IN THE STANDS.
Our turf can’t grow sunflowers, so please don’t try. No seeds are permitted on the field or in the dugouts.

5. NO PETS.
We love them too, but pets aren’t permitted at The Yard. Plus, we’d rather not have anyone stealing your hot dog.

6. TOBACCO-FREE FACILITY.
MLB doesn’t allow it, and neither do we. Please keep The Salvage Yard tobacco-free.

7. NO OUTSIDE ALCOHOL.
Outside alcohol is not permitted anywhere on the premises. Not our rule—but definitely one we have to follow.

8. COOLERS MAY BE CHECKED AT THE GATE.
We’ve gotta make sure there aren’t any hidden pets—or anything else that shouldn’t be coming in.

9. KEEP ELECTRONICS OFF THE NETTING.
Please do not hang cameras, phones, or other electronic devices from the nets. They’re for foul balls, not your equipment.

10. TURF SHOES ONLY IN THE BATTING CAGES.
Leave the cleats for the field. Turf shoes are required inside the cages.

11. ASK BEFORE USING BATTING CAGE EQUIPMENT.
Please get approval from Salvage Yard management before using any cage equipment. Some of it is a little more technical than it looks.

12. DRINK RESPONSIBLY.
Enjoy yourself, but remember where you are—it’s a youth baseball game, not adult league softball.
